New Name, Same Service

The US BBB system has taken over the Canadian Council of Better Business Bureaus as of August 16, 2011.  In September, the Americans will convene a meeting here in Canada to formally strip the Canadian BBB Council of its ability to govern Canada.  On December 15, 2011 there will no longer be a Canadian BBB system.  The Toronto BBB joined the American BBB system and asked the Americans for the Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and Brantford regions of Ontario in an effort to increase its revenue source and size.
