What is a CBCB Accredited Business?

If a business has been accredited by CBCB, it means the CBCB’s Board of Directors has determined that the business meets the CBCB Membership Standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. CBCB accredited businesses pay a fee for review, monitoring and for support of CBCB services to the public.

CBCB accreditation does not mean that the business' products or services have been evaluated or endorsed by the CBCB, or that the CBCB has made a determination as to the business' product quality or competency in performing services.

Businesses are under no obligation to seek CBCB Membership, and some businesses are not Members because they have not sought CBCB Membership.
